This self-initiated concept project focuses on expanding the product lineup for Respawn, a gaming energy and focus mint brand created by Razer. The objective was to design custom, tactile packaging for three distinct flavor varieties, each engineered to reflect the brand's sleek, high-performance tech aesthetic while establishing a clear visual identity for every flavor in the range.
Rather than sticking to standard box formats, I combined physical product design with graphic brand strategy by 3D modeling and printing custom sliding cases. Wrapped in vibrant, precision-printed graphics, the final packaging suite delivers a clean, professional, and interactive user experience that fits naturally into Razer's cutting-edge design ecosystem.

My research began with low-fidelity sketches that mirrored the mints' rounded hexagonal shape directly into the container's geometry, establishing a fluid connection between product and packaging. By analyzing Razer and Respawn’s high-tech aesthetic alongside competitor designs, I ensured the concept aligned with the brand identity while offering a distinct, interactive form factor. Through iterative digital modeling and physical 3D print tests, I refined the sliding mechanism, ergonomics, and structural tolerances before applying final surface graphics.
The final deliverables include three fully realized, 3D-printed physical sliding packages: one for each distinct flavor variety, complete with precision-fitted print wraps. To showcase the collection, I produced and edited four promotional hero images styled with sleek, high-tech lighting and aesthetics that mirror the Razer brand ecosystem.
As a self-initiated concept, the primary impact of this project was mastering the bridge between 3D product modeling, brand strategy, and physical fabrication. Navigating strict hardware tolerances while maintaining brand integrity provided invaluable hands-on experience in bringing a digital concept into a fully realized, production-ready tangible product.

The process began with an in-depth look into Razer and Respawn’s established brand identity, specifically their heavy reliance on sharp geometry, sleek industrial lines, and a high-tech, futuristic aesthetic. Drawing from those visual cues, I translated a series of low-fidelity sketches into several functional 3D models. After testing different mechanisms, I narrowed the direction down to two sliding case concepts, ultimately selecting the tall hexagonal design as the final build for its perfect alignment with their iconic design language.

With the structural skeleton fully refined through digital rendering and physical test prints, I transitioned to crafting the graphic print wraps. I intentionally maintained a clean, streamlined aesthetic that stayed faithful to Respawn’s existing brand guidelines, allowing the unique hexagonal geometry of the 3D-printed case to take center stage without being overwhelmed by busy graphics. The resulting wraps deliver a polished, high contrast finish that seamlessly unifies the graphic design with the tactile physical housing.
