The Novus Lumina Artist Table bridges the gap between sculptural art and functional workspace, serving as a flagship piece for my modern furniture studio. Grounded in human-centered design principles, this custom desk is engineered specifically for creators, blending high end ergonomics with a striking aesthetic.


Rooted in a design philosophy that balances organic warmth with industrial grit, the piece combines a precision-welded steel skeleton with a rich walnut hardwood surface. Moving from exploratory concept sketches to exact 3D models in Fusion 360, the fabrication process involved cutting and joining over fifty individual steel square tubing members to build a structurally uncompromising frame. The result is a bold, tactile workstation that functions equally as a canvas and a creation space.
